Early Years - Development Services
(children ages 12 months – 5 years)
Early child development checks are provided so that the main areas that might need attention are identified and get targeted as soon as possible by parents, carers or professionals (nanny, au pair, nursery staff). I often focus on early communication and language and provide personalised guidance of activities to include during play and natural routines.

Parents are often aware of areas of delay in the early stages of their children's development, but precious time and opportunities to act are often missed, simply because parents and professionals are unaware of how to help the children, or because getting diagnoses and further support take too long (e.g. autism/ASD).
My main goal is to provide the parents and carers with the necessary strategies and activities to work on improving the child’s language & communication in a very targeted way. The intervention is tailored depending on the assessment and the child' skill level and interests. If needed, and depending on each child and family priorities, the intervention will also include targets to improve development other areas such as, gross motor, fine motor, play, cognitive, self-help, or socio-emotional development.
